The Nautilus Residence is a complete renovation of a private home in Miami Beach, designed to reflect the client’s evolving lifestyle and desire for a serene, multifunctional space. The renovation focused on transforming the existing layout into an open-concept home that seamlessly connects the interior with the lush exterior garden.
The design introduces new programmatic areas—including a dedicated home office, playroom, and bar area—while maintaining a cohesive flow throughout the main living spaces. A key design strategy was to visually and physically open the home to the surrounding landscape, allowing natural light and greenery to become integral elements of the interior experience.
A refined palette of earth tones and soft, calming colors enhances the tranquil atmosphere, creating a balance between functionality and relaxation. The result is a modern, inviting residence where every space engages with nature and supports a flexible, contemporary way of living.
